Student Drop Off/Pick Up

We encourage all students to be dropped off and picked up near the school and to avoid the businesses and parking lot on the corner of Tapo St. and Township Ave.  Valley View is not responsible for supervising  private property and off campus areas.  For student safety, arrange for pick up near an area where there is adequate adult supervision.

When dropping off students in the Front Parking Lot:

• Please pull your vehicle to the curb and pull as far forward as possible towards the end of the parking lot.
• It is important to pull your car to the end of the pick up line to keep the flow of traffic moving so that cars are not backed up on Tapo St.
• Use the "Drive Thru" lane to exit the parking lot. Please do not park in the middle of the front lot for pick-up/drop off.
• Have students’ backpacks with the children to avoid having to access the trunk of the car.
• Drop off students early, or a short walking distance to the school to avoid traffic congestion.
  • Instruct your student to always use the crosswalk when crossing streets.
